ORGANISATIONAL WELLBEING & COACHING

Healthier people. Sustainable performance.

Evidence-informed speaking engagements, workshops and coaching programmes exploring the relationship between health, human behaviour and sustainable performance at work.

Beyond Individual Resilience

In demanding professional environments, high performance can sometimes come at a hidden cost.

Sustained pressure, competing responsibilities and deeply established patterns of overperformance can gradually affect wellbeing, recovery and the capacity to navigate everyday demands.

Yet workplace wellbeing is not simply a matter of encouraging individuals to become more resilient.

The environments people work in, the expectations placed upon them and the opportunities available for recovery all influence how they experience and respond to pressure.

Meaningful change requires an understanding of both the individual and the wider context in which they work.

Drawing on my experience as a medical doctor and training in integrative coaching, I bring an evidence-informed perspective to conversations about stress, behaviour and sustainable performance.

My aim is to help organisations and their people develop greater understanding, explore practical opportunities for change and move towards healthier, more sustainable ways of working.

The Perspective I Bring

My approach is informed by almost two decades of medical practice, alongside my training in coaching and hypnotherapy.

Through my work in medicine, I've developed a deep appreciation of the relationship between physical health, psychological wellbeing and the demands of everyday life.

I'm particularly interested in the psychology of habits and behaviour change — why we continue repeating familiar patterns, even when we recognise that they may no longer be serving us.

This interest shapes how I approach chronic overperformance. Beyond the visible demands of work and responsibility, I'm interested in understanding the habits, expectations and patterns of responding that can contribute to people consistently operating beyond their capacity.

Importantly, I recognise that these patterns do not develop in isolation.

Workplace culture, organisational expectations and opportunities for recovery all influence how people experience and respond to pressure.

I bring these perspectives together through evidence-informed education and reflective coaching, working collaboratively with organisations to develop engagements relevant to their people, priorities and working environments.

Topics We Can Explore

I offer speaking engagements, workshops and coaching centred on the relationship between health, human behaviour and sustainable performance. The following themes reflect areas of particular interest and can be tailored to the needs of different organisations.

01  Understanding Chronic Overperformance

Exploring how sustained demands, established habits and workplace expectations can contribute to patterns of working that leave insufficient space for recovery and wellbeing.

02 The Science of Habits and Behaviour Change

Understanding why knowing what we need to do doesn't always translate into action, and exploring practical ways to support meaningful, lasting behavioural change.

03  Stress, Recovery and Sustainable Performance

Developing a greater understanding of how prolonged stress can affect our ability to think, respond and function, alongside the importance of recovery and supportive working environments.

04  Boundaries, Responsibility and the Pressure to Perform

Exploring why capable professionals may struggle to set boundaries, disengage from work or step away from established expectations, and what can help create healthier patterns.

05  Supporting Women in Demanding Professional Roles

Exploring the challenges that can arise when career ambitions, leadership responsibilities and caregiving demands intersect, with attention to wellbeing, identity and sustainable success.

These themes can inform educational talks, interactive workshops and coaching engagements, with the focus and format discussed according to organisational needs.
